Restricting folder access on network

I have three computers on a secured wireless network Belkin 54g setup. On
the computer that has the folder and files (computer 1) I want to restrict a
certain folder from the other two computers. On computer #1, I right click
on the folder and click on the security tab, simple file sharing is disabled
thus security tab is displayed. I tried to put (computer #2) name in the
check name box "computer2\dad, for example and it cannot find name. I
clicked on the location under the security tab and it lists only "computer
1", thus everyone account on computer #1 I can deny access but I cannot load
computer #2. So when I go to computer #2 and try to access the folder it
show everything. Now I right clicked on the folder on computer #1 and choose
the sharing tab I have it marked "do not share folder" but I can still see it
from computer #2 any suggestions

Access control in Windows XP (with simple file sharing disabled) is
based on user account names, not on computer names. To the best of my
knowledge, no version of Windows has access control based on computer
names.

In a workgroup, access control can only use accounts that exist on the
computer that has the shared folder. So, to control access to a
folder on computer 1, you specify the name as "computer1\user".
Anyone who logs onto another computer on the network with that user
name gets the type of access that you permit to "computer1\user".

Thanks Steve for the link to your web site it was helpful. What I'm getting
out of this is that I cannot restrict the share from computer/2 in computer
1's account. What I did was highlight the shared drive and took out
"everyone" and assigned permission from the user account that resides on
computer 1. When I went to computer 2 now it asks me for a password to
access the drive "Great". One thing is bad, is that after I disconnect the
drive from computer 2, and try to reconnect the drive, it reconnects without
prompting for a password. Is there anyway to have it prompt for a password
everytime I map the drive from computer 2. I even tired to search for files
throught windows media player throught the shared music files on computer 1
"the all user account" and it goes right in without a password. Then when I
go to drive D it loggs on automatically without a password. Basically all I
want to do is share the music folder permately from all three computers and
block everything else from access.

Thanks

George
