restoring restore file

I removed a "worm" by turning off sys restore and running worm removal exe. The worm was removed but I cannot retieve sys restore files that were on my machine for previous dates. the box is runnung slow so I need to estore the original or close to it as possible
How fo I find and restore these files?

Hi

When you turned System Restore off, didn't you get a message to say that all
existing checkpoints will be deleted - you should have done. If you turn SR
off, you won't be able to retrieve any System Checkpoints that you
previously had. Sorry.

Sorry, can't help with the system restore problem. However, you may not yet
be rid of the "worm" in your system. Try the site below to be sure it is
gone.
