Hello,
I am preparing to do a clean install of Windows XP Home Edition as a result
of some serious problems that have arisen. I have two internal hard drives,
and I have recently backed up some data files (photos/videos/documents, etc)
with the XP backup utility onto my backup hard drive. I was wondering how,
after I have done the clean install of Windows onto my primary hard drive, I
go about restoring my backed-up files from my backup hard drive onto my
primary hard drive? Will the wizard guide me through all of this? I have
noticed that my files (Documents and Settings and such) have been reduced
into one file after they have been backed up. Will they be decompressed back
into the many files just as they appear now? I appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Rob
