restore calendars and contacts

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out. I wonder where the
calendar and contacts get saved into - is it in outlook.pst as a whole which
is under local settings of a user profile folder or in the personal folder.

What happens is that i have been using outlook all along and have built
quite a large number of contacts and calendar in it. Everything worked fine
up until when all of a sudden, a new user profile was created. I don't know
why another user profile was created, not the previous one (maybe due to
security rights). Anyway, i have to start adding a new account all over again
and don't mind doing that. However, i can't afford to losing all contacts,
events in the calendar and flags that used to mark read messages. All is
gone. Is there any way i can somehow restore those things back to the current
outlook? I use office 03.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Yes, your Calendar & Contacts are in your old PST file. Try opening it using
the File menu > Open > Outlook Data File then drag/drop the data you want
out of it into your current folders
