Restart computer

Hi!

I posted a question a month ago about a message that I kept getting from my
machine every time I started it.
The message said "You need to restart your computer in order to continue the
update. Do you want to restart
your computer now?" (My operating system is in Swedish, so this is a free
translation.) It doesn't give any further information on what update, and it
has no code.

The message disappeared after I cleaned my computer, but I have no idea what
did it.

Now the message is back again. It started yesterday when I opened an
application (I think it was Adobe Illustrator).

Has somebody had the same problem or has a good suggestion how to get rid of
this problem?

Hi,
If it was Adobe's downloader so I can only suggest to check it's app - an
downloader/updater and turn the automatic updates off if there is that
option.

Besides you can check settings for Automatic Updates:
Control Panel -> Security Center -> Automatic Update
if selected is Automatic option, Windows will download and install its
updates without asking. In case when some patch will need restart appear
similar message.

Every time I launch my application, Windows Installer performs an
installation. How can I determine the cause of the on-demand installation?
