resolution to low

Martin

I have a compaq laptop with win2k and a hp desjet 720C
printer.
When I print a page containing an image using the highest
possible resolution (600dpi), text and graphs are printed
fine except bitmap images. The resoluton of these is low
at about 150 or 72 dpi.
Does anyone know how to get it printed at the right
resolution?

Keep in mind you cannot print an image at a resolution higher than the
source file. It will always look grainy. I would check the image file in
Photoshop or another image editor and verify the properties are what you
expect.
