resizing existing partitions

Hi,
i was wondering what would be the best (easiest and cheapest) way to change
the size of an existing partition.
I currently have my 40GB hard drive partitioned in the following way:
/dev/hda1 1.9 GB (Windows XP)
/dev/hda2 738.2MB (Linux Swap)
/dev/hda3 35.4 GB (Suse9.1 Linux)

Obviuosly, the Windows partition is too small and the Linux is too large,
and I would like to change that.
Please do not suggest Partition Magic, I've heard this one before.
Is it possible to use Yast's expert Partitioner for this purpose (to those
of you who have Suse9.1)?

I have successfully used PQMagic from PowerQuest and
PartitionExpert (=DiskDirector) from Acronis. Both are
excellent products, in spite of your reservations.

Note that your requirements - easiest and cheapest - are
mutually contradictory. It takes a lot of time to make
something really nice and easy to use, and the result is,
of course, that it costs money. After all, when you do
a good job, you expect to be rewarded appropriately,
don't you? Or are you satisfied with a pat on the shoulder?

Now if you don't want to spend any money and have
oodles of time then I suggest that you copy your disk
to a spare disk, repartition the original disk, then copy
things back again and apply a few tricks to restore the
boot environment. It's not too hard to do if you know
what you're doing - I've done it several times.

Take a look at BootitNG. Note sure if it will do partitions for linux,
but it has a 30 day full featured trial version so the cost is right.

I would use BootIT NG, from http://www.BootitNG.com ($35 shareware - 30
day full functional trial)

Download, to its own folder, extract from the zip, run the bootitng to
make a boot floppy.

Boot the floppy, Cancel Install, entering maintenance, then click on
Partition work. You can now highlight partitions (including Linux ones)
and use Resize and then by the sound of it Slide to put the free space
after the Windows partition and resize that
