resizing a photo

I saved a photo in My Documents from Adobe Photoshop which I had edited. The popup window to automatically resize the photo for e-mail does not appear after I click 'e-mail this file'. It seems that it only comes up with JPEG files. How can I resize my saved image (from Photoshop) to send in e-mail size?

Go into Photoshop and convert picture to JPEG by using Save As. Or keep in Photoshop format and re-size image in Photoshop
