Resized EMF/WMF Images look poor in IE6

Hello,

when zooming metafile-images in HTML by Javascript, only the original
sized picture displays well. Even a small reduction (IMG properties
Width/Height) causes a loss of complete lines or font-parts. Magnified
images look 'pixelized'. Other programms (e.g. Windows Picture & Fax
Viewer) zoom in and out correctly. I guess Internet Explorer 6 doesn't
support anti aliasing for vectorgraphics. Is there a solution or a
plugin to this? Will IE7 support EMF/WMF better?

Thanks for any useful comment,

Geert-Jan

Found a solution: Use VML tags. Replace imagemaps/hotspots by
transparent <v:rect ..href...>
