resize digital pics for email

For some reason I lost the ability to resize jpeg pics sending via email
except for tif files which I never use. How do I bring back the ability to
have jpeg recognized by this great program? I deleted a number of unused
programs lately ---could this be the problem? Or does it have to do with
folder options in control panel? HELP!

Which great program are you talking about?

On a side note: you can resize your jpeg files via paint.

The resizing is a feature of windows XP where all you have to do is right
click on a photo file and select "send to email". A window opens asking if
you want to reduce the size for sending. You can also highlight many pics
from the same file and the accessory will reduce all if wanted.

Why don't the Resize Pictures dialog appear while sending
picture to e-mail?

Thank you for "regserv....." it worked but now the program, after reducing
the size, takes me to a Microsoft Outlook emailing page without the ability
to send. Also, I use Outlook Express and put it as default but still no luck
using it. Any suggestions?

First off, make sure OE is listed as your email progam in both
Internet Options/Progams page and Add/Remove Programs -> Set
Progam Access and Defaults. After having set Outlook Express as
your default email program, either restart your computer or log
off and log back on. Now see if it's still trying to use
Outlook.

If this doesn't help, you might want to post your question to
the Outlook Express newsgroup.

Former season ticket holder here. Had seats in section 321 in
the old stadium from 84 to 94. Having sat in those stands in
some of the bleakest years, I never thought they'd be what they
are today.

Let's hope the defense gets their act together right before the
playoffs start.
