Resetting list of senders who have received automated replies

Dudely

After much gnashing of teeth, hair pulling, cussing and many, many
hours of research, I finally figured out why I can't send more than
one automated reply to the same person. Apparently, this is a
feature.

Microsoft states "The reply using a specific template rule in the
Rules Wizard sends your automated reply only once to each sender
during a single session. This rule prevents Outlook from sending
repetitive replies to a single sender from whom you receive multiple
messages. During a session, Outlook keeps track of the list of users
to whom it has responded. If you exit Outlook and then restart it,
however, the list of the senders who have received automated replies
is reset."

Therefore, my question is how do I turn off this "feature"? If it
can't be turned off, where does Outlook store the "list of users to
whom it has responded" ? I would like to reset it after each time it
gets updated. Exiting Outlook to reset it is not a good solution.

Thank you in advance.

Good question. I suspect they information is kept within the Outlook
session itself and not within any file written to disk. I don't know if VBA
code could access the data.

OK, so... who would know for sure, and how to access it?

Thank you
