Resetting default search engine in IE6

Hi all

I am having this problem of resetting IE6 default search engine back to MSN
in windows XP Home edition. Somehow the default search page as been changed
to Globalfind.com. What used to happen was if I typed the incorrect name or
misspelled the name of a website in the address bar MSN would kick in and do
a search which I was happy with but not now global takes over the search. I
have changed all the entries in the registry to what I have read on various
websites but this does not work neither does a file that is supposed to
reset the settings in IE6. I have also changed the settings in the search
window to MSN (this is the only choice I have.)

It would be much appreciated if anyone could give me a solution to this
problem.

Your home page has been hijacked by a Spyware parasite!
Proceed as follows -

Go to:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location: Spyware and Hijackware Removal Support.
