reseting default browser

S

stinker1953

My browser was defaulted to msn, and suddenly another
brouwer appeared called Search.com. I have gone into the
tools and Internet Options, reset it,applied it and I
turn the computer off. When turning it back on, that damn
Search.com is back up there. I know I am changing it and
applying it, but it will not default back to msn. How do
I reset this? Thanks, Roberta

First, scan the system for parasites and remove them. SpyBot S&D searches
your harddisk for Spyware and Adware
http://security.kolla.de/

&

Adaware (similar)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
(Remember to perform a Webupdate to have the latest definitions installed)

This will remove malware from the PC. Next, reset the homepage.
