reset default program to view images

when i try to open an image in Outlook, the program that tries to open it
gives me an error message stating that my trial period has expired. so i end
up having to save the image to another folder & opening it from another
location. i have multiple programs that let me view images, but when in
Outlook, those programs are not selected to help me see the image. can i
reset the default program with which i view images?

Did you uninstall the old graphics viewer program to see if it will reset
the file association?
If it doesn't, you can change the association in Windows Explorer - tools,
folder options, file types.

Do you not get an error about the 'expiration' that tells you the name of
the program?
