Reserved System Space

Richard

When I go to defrag my hard drive I see that a large protion of the drive is
marked as "reserved system space". This first materiralized after I
upgraded to SP-2. I have deleted SP-2s $NTUnistall file but the reserved
space is still there. The area is larger than all of the drive space that
is used by XP and my program files. What do I need to do to recover this
space?

Turn off Virtual Memory, before that, run Disk Cleanup, (including removing
all but the last restore point) and finally, run defrag.
