Rescue Disk

I have installed Kaspersky Internet Security Suite on my Windows XP Pro - SP3
computer. The opportunity to make a rescue disk ala Bart's PE Software has
been presented to me. Is there an advantage to doing this - ie. the startup
disk is Virus protected or should I use Windows PE? According to Bart one
advantage, and this does loom large, is that Windows is a command based
system, whereas Bart's has a GUI.

Anyone have any experience or advice to share? All input gratefully accepted.

What do you actually expect of yur "Rescue Disk"? A Bart PE boot CD
is not a "Windows startup disk" but it is a very powerful tool for a
system administrator to "look under the bonnet" of a machine that no
longer works.

If you can make a Bart's PE disc with Kaspersky then try it, I think you'll like it.
