requires an OLE DB session object

Hi

I tried to run an access program written by someone else
and I got an error message:

Requested operation requires an OLE DB Session object,
Which is not supported by the current provider.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

the app requires an ado connection to another database
more (spesific) info is required to be of further assistance

I believed it's trying to connnect to Oracle dbase using
ADO connection.

not that it matters...
but you're right most people *do* get the shivers when you use the magic
word
and yes I am an Oracle certified DBA (for what tahat's worth ;-))
