Reporting Engines

Hey All,

Does anyone know of any good reporting engines for .NET? We're
currently evaluating Telerik, Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
We need to be able to have multiple input/output formats, drilldown
capabilities and it needs to be easy for us and our users to create
reports.

Any input that anyone has would be appreciated.

Reporting Services rocks... I've done a ton with it recently.

Now when you say 'end users' what do you mean?

I'd go with Reporting Services, hands down.. but what you are really
asking is this:

a) SQL Reporting Services 2008
or
b) SQL Reporting Servives 2005.

And the answer is _DEFINITELY_ wait a few months for SQL Server 2008

Avoid Crystal - buggy buggy buggy.

Hi Aaron,

When I say 'end users' I mean our customers. Sometimes they want to be
able to create their own reports. I also mean someone in-house who may
need to create a report but not necessarily be the most technically-
proficient

How is it with really complex multi-page forms (like invoices, purchase
orders, etc.). Some of our current reports have a lot of "logic" in
them - like don't show this section if a certain condition isn't met,
etc.

I've looked a little at Reporting Services 2008 and am encouraged but
I'd like the advice of someone who actually uses the product a lot.

Thanks for your help.
