Report printing 2 pages

Jeremy

Hello,

I know this is a stupid question but please be gentle with me. I have a
report that's data source is a query that only ever returns one record.
Every time I run the report there is a second blank page. I really want to
remove this page. Does anyone have a suggestion. I would not ask only I
have spent ages trying to find out why it is doing this.

Thanks
Jeremy

Jeremy,

Most likely your report width is greater than the useful page width (paper
width less side margins), so Access produces a second page that is actually
'on the right' of your actual page. Calculate your available width, e.g. A4
paper > 210mm minus (2 X 20mm) margins = 170mm, and check your report width
in design view against this figure (use ruler on top of report window). Make
your report narrower until it does not exceed the calculated max. width (or
make your margins smaller).

HTH,
Nikos
