Reply and import / export grayed out

Hi,
I installed Outlook 2007 trial in December and recently lost every thing
on my hard drive. Fortunately I had backed up outlook to another drive.
However after downloading and re-installing Outlook 2007 trial I've found
many of the buttons grayed out. I tested the setting and everything checks
out...
