Replaying a sound file when you return to a slide

I'm using Powerpoint 2003. I have recorded narration (wav) files for each
slide using Sound Recorder. I have the sound file set to play when the slide
opens. I have several slides on which I have placed a "Back" button. When you
use the back, or return to a slide that has already played the sound how can
I get that sound to play again. When I use the back button or page up or
arrow up the sound won't play again.

For the ones that you have a back button, put a blank slide with zero
transitions or timings before the slide you want to go back to, and link back
to it. By design PowerPoint brings you back after all events are finished on the
slide therefore linking back to a blank slide before will have everything play
again.

You have to put a dummy slide with a 00:00-second automatic transition in
before the real slide and link to the dummy slide.

See, when PPT returns to a slide, it comes in at the *end* of the slide. You
need it to come in from the beginning.
