I am in the process of changing the colur scheme on several PPT
presentations.
Naturally I have altered the Master slide as appropiate.
I am now left with a number of items (fills, lines, bullets and text) whose
colour I wish to change. Is there a global replace colour facility - or
something equivalent?
Suggestions appreciated!

I am using PPT2000 on Windows XP

thanks in anticipation.

You mean you want an option that replaces ABC color with XYZ? That's not
possible without actually manually doing that change -- and I do agree that's
a lot of clicks and keystrokes.

You can actually export the PowerPoint presentation to HTML and edit the
color values in the HTML output but even that's a long drawn thing.
PowerPoint MVP Shyam Pillai has a free PowerPoint add-in called Color Scheme
Manager at:

That may help you a little but you'll still need to do clicks and keystrokes.

Fraid not.

You might be able to change those colors by changing the color scheme --
just depends how things were set up in the first place. You may want to map
the objects' colors to a color scheme, anyway, to make it easier in future.

http://www.echosvoice.com/colorschemes.htm should help you understand color
schemes so you can leverage them in your presentations and on your masters.
