replacement lcd monitor stand

anyone know of an adjustable LCD monitor stand that swivels & tilt &
raised .

I have a 19" Planar PL1910M lcd monitor. the stand that comes with the
monitor only tilts.

are there any adjustable stand on the market that is compatible with
this model?

Not familiar with that model, but if it has the standard VESA mounts
on the back, you should be able to find all kinds of ways to mount it using
that mounting provision.
But, there may be a problem if you have a limited budget. Some of
the "Ergo-arm" types of mounts seem to cost as much or more than the
monitor.
Alternative may be to check newer monitors being sold - not "entry" type,
but slightly "upscale" ones will likely have the features you desire -
possibly
at not much more cost than getting a "Ergo-mount".
Try googling for ergo-arm, or VESA mount... and then check web sites of
major PC & peripherals suppliers. Don't forget to look beyond "consumer"
products, since many of the business kinds of applications are more likely
to
be using ergo features. (Consumers *CAN* buy them - just typically not in
stores....look on the web.)

thanx for the tip on the mounts.

however, I prefer not to mess things that involve drilling and clamping.
so the arm stands and clamp stands are out.

however, I did find a few of the desktop stands.

I didn't like this one as it looks kind dorky & dinky.

why interesting?, seems that model has a variant that can hold 2, maybe
more it seems, up to nine..

not sure about this, are there models that let you build a multi-monitor
set up starting from one monitor with one deskstand without discarding
the pieces? that is are these things "modular", assemble them in pieces.

do any them require a manual rotation from landscape to portrait screen
mode? I've seen one model that requires you to manually unscrew &
loosen a knob, rotate the screen and re-screw & re-tighten the knob?

I'm intrigued by this, wouldn't mind having a multi-monitor setup, but
I'd would want to build such as setup as I go along when funds are
available.

the most I'd prolly go for would be a 3 monitor setup.
