replace DLL by date or version

We updated a server running IE 5.5 to 6.0 SP1 but scrrun.dll did not get
updated. scrrun.dll had a version of 5.1.0.5010 and a modified date of
7-22-2002. We were hoping IE 6.0 would give us scrrun.dll version 5.6.0.6626.
Does the IE installer look at the version or the modified date when replacing
DLL's? I can't explain why my 5.1 version of scrrun.dll has a date of
7-22-2002 when it looks like the 5.6 version should have a date of 6-26-2001.
What's the best way to get the latest version of scrrun.dll? I would like to
replace it because I'm experiencing slow read times reading files greater
then 4mg using FSO.

I'll load the Windows Script to get the latest scrrun.dll, but do you have an
explanation as to why IE 6.0 didn't change the DLL that I had?
