Replace comma with hard return

Paul

I have an address that is in a single line with comma's
seperating the lines. I want to replce the comma's with
hard carriage returns (ALT+ENTER) but I cannot type
ALT+ENTER into the replace with box of the replace
function. Any idea's?

Alternatively, does someone have a macro that will replace
one character with another on a string that they could
mail me?

Frank's finger slipped; he meant to type ALT+0010
Hold down ALT and type 0010 on the numeric keypad

Excellent, that works! However it does not entirely solve
my problem! I now do a lookup to that address on another
sheet. When it extracts the address (with the carriage
returns now not the comma's) is puts square boxes where
the returns are - any ideas?

Hi
in the target cell goto 'Format - Cells - Alignment' and

Excellent that works! However, I not do a Vlookup on
another sheet on that data. When it finds the address
with the ALT+Enter in it puts it all on one line with
squares where the hard return is - any idea how to stop it
doing this and keep the hard return?
