Replace Ampersand Symbol

Using Word 2003
I am addressing some wedding invitations in Monotype Corsiva font. I don't
care for the style of the ampersand symbol, so I want to replace only that
symbol with Times New Roman. Is there any way of replacing all of the
ampersand symbols at once instead of going into each one? I looked at the
"Find and Replace" dialog and couldn't find a way to do this.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, Karen

It should be possible in Find/Replace, in the Replace tab, but
a. you need to open up the full dialog - click the "More" button"
b. type & in the Find What box, then click Format, then Font and select
Monotype Corsiva (or type it in)
c. type & in the Replace With box, then click Formatr, then Font, and Times
New Roman
d. click Replace All.

If you want to be able to play with the formatting further, you could
usefully create a "character style" with the font you want, and in step (c)
click Format, Style and select that style. Then to modify the font of all
those &s, you modify the /style/ Although that's arguably the "proper" way
to do it the above approach should be enough to do the job.
