Repeat a macro

Hi
I have xp pro and use Office 2000.
I do extensive editing in Word and miss a feature I used frequently in
WordPerfect Dos which allowed me to repeat a macro as many times as you like,
eg using identical keystrokes on each of say 20 lines
If there is a simple way can someone please let me know and I am afraid I
need it fairly simple.

F4 or Ctrl+Y will repeat the last action, but, unlike the Repeat command in
WP, you don't select the number of times it will be repeated, you just press
it for each repeat you want.
