repair database

At times like this, nothing beats a good backup. In fact make a complete
backup of your database now and put it away for safe keeping.

The JetComp tool might be your best bet. Also you could try opening a new
database file and importing everything from the old database to the new.

Tony Toews has an excellent web page on database corruption.

Allen Brown also has excellent info on corruption.

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database
towards the bottom this page:

If Tool access repair database is failed then you have only one optio
left and that is to take the help of access repair utilities. There ar
many 'access repair' (http://www.repair-access-file.com/) utilitie
available in market. One of those software I know is Stellar phoeni
Access recovery, it will not help you to only repair corrupted data
but also it will help you to recover and repair your database fro
following of the error messages like :

• Unrecognized database format.
• Enter Password (even though no password has been given).
• The Microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot open the file.
• Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to be closed.
Simply just download the trial version first from the site, if in th
trial version you are able to see your database, then purchase the ful
version to save your access file.

You can download trial version from here
