Renaming and/or Viewing XML files crashes WinExplorer

Whenever I rename or view XML files, WindowsExplorer
crahes very frequently with an exception error message
that also suggest that an error log has been generated.
Where can I find this error log? Also, any help is
appreciated in resolving the crashing of WinExplorer.

FYI...I have all the Windows 2000 updates on my computer.
Thanks.
