Help!

on our network, one of the applications runs from a network drive, and each
time a user clicks on the icon to start it, they get the same icon you would
when trying to download a file from a website... clicking open works just
fine, but they are getting upset... this started with winxp sp1...

has anyone had this problem? and beyond that, has anyone used group policy
to fix it?

Thanks!!!

Add the server to the Local Intranet or Trusted Sites zone.

Hello Graham,
This does not appear to be a security issue.
What is the application you're attempting to run?
What OS is hosting the network drive for the application?
What's the behavior of the app prior to SP1?
