Removing system 32 folder opening on startup/login

I removed a virus on my computer by turning off system
restore & following the instructions from my virus scan
program. After that was all done I restarted my laptop,
turned system restore back on. Now every time I start my
computer &/or login as a user my system32 folder opens up
on startup. I tried turning off system restore again to
see if I missed something in that whole process, I
couldn't find anything. I restarted, turned it back on &
now I have 2 copies of system 32 opening every time. How
do I get rid of that folder opening? It makes me very
nervous that it opens everytime. I am concerned that one
of my kids may do damage or mess up some system settings
by playing around in that folder.
