removing read only attribute

I set up some computers with XP Pro and used the security
tab to set permissions for the C drive and a folder. I
later found that using the simple sharing method worked
for my purposes and used this on the succeeding
computers. My problem is that I can't get rid of the read
only attribute on the folder. I used the attrib -r -s
c:\filename and it did not work. Any other suggestions?

Is this causing a problem for you?

It's the normal behavior in Windows XP. See
