Removing items from "Tools"

Marcus

There are a couple of items in the "tools" menu (from the top toolbar) that
I'd like to delete. I tried going into the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions .....but
the items are in code (long numbers and letters) so I don't know what I'd be
deleting. How do I figure out what I'd be deleting if there is no name to
the item?

1. Uninstall both via Add/Remove Programs, if found. Bit Defender Online
Scanner prolly may be removed using HijackThis. See #2.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
