removing attachments from Outlook Express emails

I am able to remove attachments from copies of emails I
send in Outlook Express, but when I right click on an
attachment to an email that I receive, the REMOVE and ADD
options are greyed out and no longer available.

I can only save the email message if I am willing to save
the attachment, too. Is there some way to delete the
attachments from received emails in Outlook Express?
