Remove the hyperlink underline from word(s)

Is it possible to remove the underline associated with a
hyperlinked word(s)? I know that I can change the color
associated with the hyperlinked word(s) for the hyperlink
and when the hyperlink is followed.
I also know that I can create a text box and select the
text box and this will prevent the underlining.
However, I want to use the bulleted list layout (2000) or
the Title and Text layout (XP/2003)for the text that I
will be hyperlinking.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks !

You can create a rectangle the width and height of the text that you want to
link. Apply the link to the rectangle and position it to cover the text. Then
give the rectangle no fill and no line, making it invisible with the text
showing. Now when you hover over the text it will seem to be linked, but it is
actually the invisible rectangle that is linked.
