How to stop Quicktime icon from appearing in systray ?
More generally, how to stop any given app from appearing in systray ?
Thanks.
It's been my experience that even when going the System Configuration
Utility/msconfig route and disabling Quicktime from startup (where it'll
always be visible in the system tray unless you manually remove it from
there by the methods provided here), it will imbed itself in both the system
tray and startup list the very first time an .mov file is opened using it.
Unless you use QTime for iTunes or some other proprietary Apple program(s)
you might want to give thought to using Irfanview for .mov files.
