Remove Messenger button in IE

Is there a way (using GroupPolicy) to remove the messenger button from the
IE toolbar?

I know I can prevent messenger from running, but would also like to remove
it from the toolbar

Click the tools button at top of ie page, go to toolbars and then click
customize and after "Help" messenger will be under such then remove it and it
shall be gone.. Hoipe this helps and good luck
