How do I remove an IP address from the Remote Desktop
Connection window?

Go to Start -> Run and enter regedit in the Open box.
Click OK.
In the registry editor, navigate to the following key,

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server
Client\Default

In the right hand pane, right click on the IP address you want
to remove and select Delete from the drop down menu.

Thanks for your quick response. However I do not see Terminal server in the
Microsoft folder.
This way will be helpful to me. However whe I am traveling and using a
computer in a hotel lobby to connect, it might be an issue to delete it this
way. Is there an easier way?

The registry key will not be created until you complete a
remote connection. That may be why you cannot find the key on
your computer.

Editing the registry is the only method I'm familiar with to
remove entries from Remote Desktop Connection. Here's what

Personally, I wouldn't even consider establishing a remote
desktop connection from a public computer.
