Remove font from the "short list" of fonts at top of font list

When you click on the font drop-down list, fonts are separated into two
groups--the full list of all available fonts, and a shorter list of recently
used fonts. How can I get a particular font out of the short list (without
actually deleting the font from the full list)?

Use a bunch of other fonts till it drops off. To change the Font MRU list
requires a Registry edit.
