remove child @ domain

i am siam
i have problem with remove two domain(parent and child}
i cannt move any domain from advance server 2k .
when i will move parent domain by typing "dcpromo"
in "run" server say:cannt :because you have child domain.
when i will move child domain server said:cannt you have
parent.
can you help me?

Focus on removing the child domain. During the demotion it will ask if this
is the last DC in the domain. Check yes if this really is the last DC in
the domain - otherwise remove all the replicas first. That will allow you
to remove the child domain. Once the child domain is removed it should be
possible to demote the parent domain. This is to remove the 2 domains.

If you don't want to remove the domains but simply remove replicas don't
check the box indicating this is the last DC in the domain. This should
only work if after the DC is demoted there is at least one other DC
remaining in the domain. You will not be able to remove all the DCs in the
parent domain until all the DCs in the child domain are removed.
