Remove AT&T Worldnet From IE6

Hans Crump

Hi,

Recently I switched from AT&T Worldnet service to Comcast. On IE6, at the
very top it says: "Internet Explorer provided by AT&T Worldnet ...." Is
there a way to delete that reference to AT&T Worldnet service. I have
uninstalled all AT&T software on my computer, but the AT&T reference in IE6
still shows up. Most annoying. Any help to delete the AT&T reference would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Hans

Actually this is a registry hack that needs to be done i believe. i know
thats one way to fix and never heard of what the other post said working. so
you'll have to find out what to edit in the registry, but i have no idea, i
forget.

Hello Hans,

Attached is a tweak that comes from Kelly's site. It "unbrands" OE and IE.
