Removal of program from start up menu

When I follow the below steps to remove a program not wanted to start up
automatically and I "select the program that you want to prevent from
running," the DISABLE button becomes greyed out. The program is Quick Time.
What am I doing wrong? Thank you, paw

Click to open Windows Defender.
Click the Tools button, and then click Software Explorer.
In the Category box, click Startup Programs.
Select the program that you want to prevent from running, and then click
Disable.
Click Yes to confirm that you want to stop that program from running.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for every program you want stop from running.

Try clicking on the 'show for all users' before trying to disable.

Thank you Michael, I have been trying for three days to get a couple
programs out of startup after accidently clicking the wrong button when
loading them. I was afraid I was going to have to uninstall everything and
start over.
