Removal of Kazaa

Trying to remove Kazaa and a few other programs that my
kids have put on computer and is slowing it down. When I
go to Add/Remove programs on Control Panel, the computer
won't let me remove Kazaa, it says Install Shield is not
performing properly and it can't do it. What to do?
