Removal of icon on desktop that appears each time after bootup

Regretfully, I attempted a free download of IncrediMail's joyful mobile
"Emoticons". I saved the file to my desktop but decided not to run the
installation process. I tried to delete the download file but the icon
"Complete IncrediMail Installation" comes up on the desktop every time I
boot up. I even tried to install the application so that the installed
program could be removed via Control Panel's Add/Remove Program utility, but
to no avail - it will not install because "Installation Script Error" comes
up after each try.

I went to the trouble of deleting the IncrediMail files in the registry,
using REGEDIT and the software section of HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE, but no dice.
I diligently searched the registry but may have missed some file(s).

It is possible that IncrediMail punishes you when you attempt free
downloads.

Can someone extend a helping hand to help me destroy this MONSTER?
