From the web page:

Remote Support lets you support any PC on the internet through firewalls
and NAT routers. You can provide full on-demand remote control help desk
support, transfer files, chat, re-boot & auto-reconnect and control a
remote user's workstation in real-time without pre-installing software on
the remote computer. You can even reboot the remote computer into "Safe
Mode".

It makes an assumption that the PC can connect to where it needs to get
the exe that's installed on it, so of course it will work "through
firewalls and NAT routers" IF the PC can make the connection. I think
the way it works is it will install a VNC server instance on the client
and use a https connection.

As mentioned in the link I posted (in a "Favorite Freeware" message
thread),
it is completely free for non-commercial use.
Check the license info at Softpedia and Download.com, if you want.
