i get this message quite often:
Windows must now restart because the RPc service terminated
unexpectedly.This shutdown was initiated by NT Authority/system.Remote
Prcedure Call.
The system shutsdown & restarts back up ok.
What is happening & what can I do to correct this.Thanks..

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Logon/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Then close Windows Explorer, End Process in the Task Manager for
msblast.exe, run the edit on line 257 then run the patch listed below it:

Thanks for thr great info but I'm having a problem staying on the internet
long enough to download this patch.Any suggestions what I can do to get this
patch.It seems as if I can be on the web for 10-15 minutes before it starts
counting down to shut windows down & restart.Thanks again for your help.
