Remote printers not available

Herb

I swapped a WinXP Pro computer out and replaced it with a Vista computer.
Prior to the swap my local printer was visable and usable when connecting to
a WS2003 Domain Controller via Remote Desktop Administration (Terminal
Services).

The printer set up just fine for local use under Vista using a newer Vista
driver but it doesn't show up at all when I connect to the WS2003 Domain
Controller.

I've checked all teh settings on the RDP object to make sure that local
devices and resources, specifically printers, are used in the remote session
but they still don't show up!

Right now I am evaluating software that will cost several hundred dollars to
provide the same features in Vista that I had in WinXP. I'd prefer to not
have to spend that money if I can find out what is causing this problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Herb

I assume that you mean events on the server where it would normally display
an error event when the driver for a specific printer you have locally does
not exist on the host. Yes I did check for this but no such errors exist in
the event log.

I also checked the event log on the Vista computer and there is nothing
unusual there either.

Did something change radically in Vista to cause this?
