Remote monitoring of event logs

Jeff

I have several remote Windows 2000 servers whose event logs I want to monitor for warnings and errors. What I would like is for each server to e-mail me the past 24 hours' event logs or else send them to a printer on our LAN segment. Is there a way to script this, or does anyone know of a product that does this?

Thanks

Jeff

SysTrack from Lakeside Software may be able to assist you in remotely monitoring the event logs. Using SysTrack, receive a notification (audible alarm, email, page, etc.) when new events are added to the log. You can further specifiy which types of events you want to be notified of, warnings, errors, etc

Please contact me if you would like to see a demo of SysTrack running live in our environment

See http://www.altairtech.ca/elundump/ - a freeware that can be used to
schedule reports for your event logs. The features seem to match exactly
what you need.
