Remote installs?

Hi,

I'm trying to remove and install apps/patches on my TS, but must have a GPO
preventing me from doing this. I have disabled my policies under GPMC, yet I
still get an error saying "The installation is forbidden by system policy".
After several gpupdates, and waiting an hour or so, it says I don't have
Administrator rights. I am logged on as a domain admin and I've tried the
local admin also. Any suggestions on what policy setting may be stopping me?

You may have a restricted group policy for local administrators. This
happened to me once, and it took me a day to figure it out. But check
for restricted groups under security settings in computer policies.

Well, I checked this and found nothing in there. I use to be able to install
remotely. Now, I have trouble with any install. I can't even do the Office
updates off MS site! Oh well... guess I'll keep looking through the haystack.
