Remote Desktop

It does not appear that one can do file transfer with the
remote desktop. I was just using it and could not find a
way to transfer. Tried the copy/paste - drag/drop. no luck.
is there another way?

With a third party add-on (money). Yes.
With a free alternative such as UltrVNC. Yes.
By mapping the drives when you connect (Options -> Local Resources.) Sure.
By manually mapping the remote drives with Net Use or Map Drive or
something.. Sure.

Well, I know that if you have 2 XP machines that it is possible to move data. You need to make sure that you go under options on the remote desktop connection. Then select the tab that says local resources. If you select Disk Drive, your local disk will appear in the remote display.
